This Statement covers the collection and use of user information, including personal information, by ECIN when a user browses or uses content, features, technologies or functions offered on our website www.ecin.ca ("Site"), or uses ECIN products, software, mobile applications or services ("Services").
This includes all related websites and pages, any subscription-based features or services offered by ECIN via the Site, as well as the use of any of the Site's other related features and services. It does not apply to any third-party content that may be linked or referenced in our Site and Services.

Why We Collect Information
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to deliver a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience when using our Site and Services. This allows us to provide you with the information, services, and features that are most likely to meet your needs.

Information We Collect About You
We may collect, process, and use the following information about you, your device, and how you use it:

Registered user profile. We keep a log of visitors that contains information on registered users. This data comes from forms you complete to access content, your profile settings, and records of your visits and contributions to the Site.

Some ECIN services require you to log in or register and provide personal information such as your name, title, company name, mailing address, and email address. Registration forms may also request demographic information, industry details, or preferences.
Some fields are mandatory to obtain the requested service; others are optional. Choosing not to complete registration may restrict your access to certain parts of the Site or Services.
Automatically Collected Information
We use web analytics tools to automatically store usage information — such as the origin, number, and frequency of visitors and how they use the Site's contents. This data is used in aggregate to help us optimize the experience for as many users as possible.

Email Communications

If you no longer want to receive promotional emails, you can Unsubscribe or Change your preferences via the link at the bottom of each email, or by contacting us at sales@ecin.ca.
As a registered user, certain service notification emails — such as renewal notices or policy change notices — cannot be opted out of.
Reviewing & Changing Your Information
You can review and change the information you submitted at any time by visiting the "Your Account" or "Your Profile" section of the Site. Keep your information current — promptly update it when it changes. You can also send a request to sales@ecin.ca.
Public postings made in forums or feedback areas cannot be changed or removed once posted. Please contact E.C.I. Networks if you would like your personal information removed from our database. Note that some information may be retained to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, or enforce our Terms of Use. Additionally, some information may not be completely removed due to backup systems and technical constraints.
Your Password
You are responsible for keeping your ECIN password confidential. Never share your password with a third party — doing so may result in loss of control over your personally identifiable information. You can change your password at any time on www.ecin.ca. If your password has been compromised, change it immediately.
Conditions of Use
Any dispute over privacy is subject to this Cookie and Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and Disclaimers. Third-party websites linked from our Site have their own privacy policies, and we do not accept responsibility for those policies. Please review them before submitting any personal data to those sites.

Social Buttons & External Services
Social Buttons
Many pages of our Site include social buttons that allow users to share or bookmark web pages. These buttons include Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. By clicking any of these buttons, the Site will register your action and may use that information.
To implement these buttons, scripts from domains outside of ECIN must be used. A number of external web services are used on the ECIN Site to display specific content (e.g., Flickr for images, SlideShare for slideshows, YouTube for video). We cannot prevent these external domains from collecting anonymous usage information when you interact with embedded content.
