Shipping Guide

E.C.I. Networks provides reliable global shipping for our solutions. Our goal is to ensure secure delivery, predictable timelines, and efficient handling across all regions.

Order Processing

Orders are processed during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

  • In-stock items are typically processed within standard business timelines
  • Orders placed early in the day may ship the same business day
  • Custom, configured, or non-stock items may require additional lead time

Expedited processing may be available for urgent or production-critical requirements.

Shipping Options

We use trusted carriers such as:

  • FedEx
  • DHL
  • Other approved carriers when required

Available shipping methods may include:

  • FedEx Domestic Ground — standard shipping within Canada
  • FedEx Standard Overnight — optional, based on location
  • Expedited or priority shipping using DHL or alternative carriers

Shipping method is selected based on destination, urgency, and service availability.

Shipping Time (Estimated)

Standard Shipping: 2–3 Business Days (domestic typical transit)

International delivery: 2–10 business days depending on destination and customs

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • Product availability
  • Destination
  • Carrier performance
  • Customs clearance

Free Shipping (Canada & USA)

Free Shipping on orders of US$75 and above in Canada and the USA

  • Applies to eligible orders shipping to Canada or the United States
  • Standard shipping method may include FedEx Ground, FedEx Domestic Ground, or an equivalent carrier service selected by ECI
  • Valid for eligible products and destinations only
  • May exclude oversized, heavy, custom, configured, or special-order items

Faster options such as overnight or express delivery are available at additional cost.

International Shipping

For international orders:

  • Duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Customers are responsible for customs clearance and compliance
  • Additional documentation may be required depending on destination

Warehouse Fulfillment

Orders may ship from:

  • Our warehouse in Montreal, Canada
  • Other approved fulfillment locations, depending on availability

Items within the same order may ship separately to ensure faster delivery.

Local pickup may be available on a case-by-case basis — contact us to arrange.

Risk of Loss, Declared Value & Insurance

Risk of loss and responsibility for the shipment transfer to the customer once the goods are handed over to the carrier.

ECI is not responsible for:

  • Loss, damage, or delays occurring during transit
  • Issues arising after delivery, including improper handling or storage

Customers are strongly encouraged to:

  • Inspect shipments immediately upon receipt
  • Report any damage or discrepancies promptly

Declared Value & Carrier Liability

Shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, DHL) will compensate for loss or damage based on the declared value stated on the commercial invoice.

  • If a customer requests a modified or reduced declared value, ECI will not be responsible for any shortfall in reimbursement
  • If no additional insurance is purchased, carrier liability is typically limited to approximately USD $100

👉 We strongly recommend insuring high-value shipments to ensure full protection.

Damaged, Missing, or Delayed Shipments

Any damage, shortage, or discrepancy should be reported within 10 days of receipt.

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Photos of packaging and product
  • Description of the issue

*Claims may require carrier review.

Returns & Exchanges (Canada Only)

30-Day Returns | 30-Day Exchange*

Applicable only under the following conditions:

  • Valid for Connectivity products only
  • Applies to items valued under US$900
  • Available for orders within Canada only
  • Subject to product condition and prior approval
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated
  • Returned items must be securely packaged
  • Unauthorized or improperly packaged returns may be refused
Custom, configured, or special-order items are generally not eligible for return or exchange.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

For approved RMA returns:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping
  • ECI covers replacement shipping for confirmed defective products*
  • Approved advance replacement shipments are made within two (2) working days

Important — Duties & Tariffs (International RMA)

For international shipments (including the USA):

  • Duties, tariffs, and import taxes may be applied by local authorities
  • These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Replacement shipments may be subject to additional import duties, even if replacing a defective unit

Customers are advised to work with their customs broker to minimize duplicate duties where possible.

Customers with active support plans receive priority processing and faster replacement handling.

Custom shipping arrangements may be available, including:

  • Consolidated shipments
  • Priority handling
  • Project-based logistics coordination
  • Staged deliveries for deployments
